Warm the milk in a saucepan and melt the butter in it. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

In a bowl combine the dry ingredients and crumbled yeast. Add the egg and the butter-milk mixture to the dry ingredients and knead well for 5-10 minutes. Let the dough rest in a warm place for at least 45 minutes, or until it has doubled in size.

Prepare the garlic butter: While the dough is resting, mince the garlic and sauté it in a pan with some butter. Mince the parsley and mix it with the butter and garlic.
